Shaylyn Gibson is an award-winning actress and singer currently living in London, England. She holds 3 passports (UK/US/CAN) and has experience both on stage and screen.
Shaylyn originally hails from Newfoundland, Canada, though spent much of her life in Massachusetts. She received her Bachelor’s of Music in Vocal Performance & Music Education from Ithaca College in 2013 and completed her MA in Classical Acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) in 2018.
Shaylyn has a strong musical background and her musicality influences much of her acting work. She has a knack for drama and is skilled in delivering complex texts. Shaylyn has also worked as a private voice teacher, and has experience running music rehearsals. She is exceptional at reading and learning music.
In her free time, Shaylyn enjoys playing piano, practicing yoga, hiking, listening to podcasts, writing in her journal (a lot), and most recently started taking horse riding lessons. She is also very interested in languages; she speaks fluent Italian and conversational French. She works as an ESL teacher when not acting.
