British-Canadian actress/singer Shaylyn Gibson received her Bachelor’s of Music in Vocal Performance and Music Education from Ithaca College in 2013, and completed her MA in Classical Acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) in 2018.

A native Newfoundlander, Shaylyn is a classically-trained opera singer with a love for Shakespeare. She is pursuing a career both on stage and on screen.

Shaylyn is also a skilled voice teacher and choir director, and has experience music directing and running music rehearsals.

In her free time, Shaylyn enjoys practicing yoga, listening to podcasts, and writing in her journal (a lot). She is also very interested in languages; she speaks fluent Italian and a little French, and teaches EFL when not onstage.
